The Edition that you are holding is a result of the Exhibition of Ancient Maps of Hanoi & Its Suburbs which was jointly organized by L'Espace (Hanoi France Cultural Center) & Vietnam National Library in the year of 2008. The Edition provided a readership with the process of urbanization & its relevant development of Hanoi during a century (1873 - 1965).

“The Tam Dao (TD) National Park lies within the TD mountain range, with a high point of 1,592m, which runs northwest - southeast along an 80-km stretch of land rising up from the middle of the Red River Delta in northern Vietnam. Because of its altitude and a topography crisscrossed by a river system, TD has many different microclimates with varied and contrasting levels of altitude, temperature, rainfall and humidity.
