Indeed, this is a Grand Collection that gathered & selected a total of 208 writings of 158 authors - writers that were completed during the past 200 years covering the Tale of Kieu (TOK) - a literary masterpiece of the grand old man of Nguyen Du (1766 - 1820). It provided a readership with abundant & valuable resources of materials reflecting different & distinct approaches & assessments of both Vietnam domestic & abroad professional researchers & popular readers to the TOK.

Indeed, it is a kind of dictionary on Vietnam literary authors. It provided a readership with information (the life, literary career and creative pieces & works) relating to more than a thousand Vietnam authors, poets, playwriters and literary researchers, theorists and critics.

The Edition compiled a total of 30 articles, writings and discussion papers of the author - researcher Nguyen Dang Na that have published in leading specialized magazines such as Van Hoc (Literature) and Han - Nom (Sino-Nom Scripts Studies) during the years of 1986 up to now.

Luu Quang Vu (1948 - 1988) gained a famous reputation when he just was in age of 20. He was considered as one of the most representative writers in Vietnam literature of the sixties & seventies of the last century. He again become a famous playwright in the mid-1980s with a total of 50 plays. His unexpected department by traffic accident in the year of 1988 turned out sensational event in literary life of the time.

Mac Dang Dung (1483 - 1529) was a founder of the Mac - one of Vietnam feudal dynasties that lasted from the years of 1527 to 1677. The author of the novel tried to truthfully restore a stage that was full of historic ups & downs and bitter zigzags & happenings.

Along with Truyện Kiều - Tale of Kieu, Cung oán ngâm khúc - Bitterness of a forbidden city's concubine, Chinh phụ ngâm - the Grief of the wife sending to soldier that being in an expeditionary mission (CPN - that we are mentioning) is one of a masterpieces of Vietnam literature of 18th - 19 centuries.
